Isn’t it about time legislation started thinking about the people it serves? I am a 30 year veteran teacher who works for a state preschool. I have a BA in Child Development and have obviously worked in the field. I am saddened that once again we (the teachers) are not thought worthy enough to give us money.
Legislators get raises. Janitors get raises. Even the minimum wage got raised. But sad to say we must once again wait to see $$. I just hope I can hang on long enough to see preschool get paid for what we do! Would challenge a legislator to do our job for a week! See if they wouldn’t agree with me!
